Well, it’s been exactly 30 days and while my site is nowhere to be found on Google, I’m pretty shocked to have actually seen some movement in Yahoo and Bing.
There’s not exactly a lot of data to show at this point, but I wanted to give ya’ll an update every month so you could see how Matt LaClear’s service pans out.
The Site
If you happened to miss the beginning of this Page One or Bust Case Study then you can find it here, where I showed you search results and competition data for the site.
The Challenge
I am using nothing but Matt LaClear’s Page One or Bust article link drip feed service in attempt to hit Page 1 on Google.
December 10, 2011 Rankings Update
This link dripping service is specifically for a Google Page 1, but I’m going to be tracking Bing as well just to provide a little more data. For all of these updates I am using Rank Checker, so if you see a ranking of “200″, that just means Rank Checker didn’t return a result. I’m not sure if there are options to configure the tool otherwise, but it only returns results for the top 20 pages.
Bing
As you can see below there’s already some movement in Bing, though it’s hard to say what this movement is attributed to because I’m still posting new content on a weekly basis. Either way, I’m fairly pleased and am starting to see a little bit of traffic, albeit less than 20 visitors a day so far.

This isn’t exactly the most exciting graph, seeing as how it’s really just 5 straight lines stacked on top of each other.

Summary
I’m still looking forward to seeing some movement in Google, but in the first month I’ve made around $5-10 in commission from Amazon, so that’s not horrible. Though keep in mind this service is costing me about $10.42 per month.
The next update will be January 10, 2011.

Interested if you’ve shown back up in Google yet. I signed up for Page One or Bust after reading your review to try it myself. It’s rather hard to say if it’s work or not because I’ve been throwing links at it with Backlinks Rotator, VoltRank and 24:7 backlinks as well.
I just checked and after dropping out of the SERPs altogether for about 2 weeks my site has come back a bit stronger. Spots 1-2 (1-4 on 100 result pages) for the EMD, In the mid 20′s for the EM (the two word root keyword), and in the teens for the related term that’s my real target.
Yahoo and Bing aren’t responding as well yet in my case.
I’m going to do another full update in about a week, but I just checked 3 of my primary keywords and they’re on page 2 and 3 of Google. Both of them on page 1 or 2 for Yahoo and Bing.
Out of curiosity, how competitive are your terms?
Glad to hear the keywords are starting to rank in Google for you. I know my sister has also started using this Page One service and has had some decent results with it already too.
The EMD keyword isn’t competitive at all, or at least there’s no one searching for it. I chose that domain since it’s the same two word root + “quotes” instead of “insurance”. The insurance version is the one I’m ranking second page for now and the main target I was shooting for.
I figured it would be a somewhat tough nut to crack, since insurance is a crowded topic. ALl the EMDs were taken, even – versions and infos. Maybe this little niche was overlooked though as there’s not a lot of volume. I choose the keywords because of what looked like weak sites near the top (judging by age, PR, backlinking profile, and quality of content), so perhaps it’s just not as competitive as I expected it should be.
